Skipper Sachin Tendulkar formally joined Mumbai Indians’ conditioning camp yesterday for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL). Tendulkar will be heading the Indians’ bid to clinch the crown for the first time in the cash-rich Twenty20 event, commencing on April 4. Tendulkar was busy playing in Australia and then in the Asia Cup in Bangladesh when the camp began and went to London on a brief visit for medical consultation about his injured toe.
