'Karachi commissioner, deputies conspiring against PPP govt'
Durrani says deputy commissioners, commissioner Karachi want to gain control of the city.

Sindh Minister for Local Bodies, Agha Siraj Durrani has said that the Commissioner Karachi and the district deputy commissioners are conspiring against the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government.
During a telephonic conversation with Express News, Durrani said that the implementation of the notification for the Commissioner Karachi becoming the Administrator, District Council is a conspiracy.
Durrani said that he and the Secretary for Local Bodies had opposed the notification but the Commissioner Karachi misled the Chief Secretary and Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and got the notification implemented.
Durrani said that all five deputy commissioners along with the Commissioner Karachi are officers belonging to the revenue department but want to gain control of Karachi.
