The provincial government has released Rs90 million to Allied Hospital for replacement of an out of order CT Scan machine with a new machine. The equipment had broken-down over one and a half years ago, causing severe inconvenience to people visiting the hospital, the largest public sector healthcare facility in the city. The hospital administration said a new machine would soon be purchased. Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had made the announcement about release of funds in a visit to the hospital a year ago.
