Preparing For Easter: Celebrations planned across country
Members of the Christian community have started visiting markets to shop for themselves and their families.

The Christian community living across Pakistan is preparing to end 40-day lent (fasting) to commemorate Easter. Prayers, sans celebrations, are being planned at major churches across the country. Talking about Easter celebrations, Minister In-charge of National Harmony Dr Paul Bhatti said the festivals of minorities are celebrated officially by the government throughout the year to follow true ethical values. Members of the Christian community have started visiting markets to shop for themselves and their families.
