LAHORE: Pakistan and India must resolve all their disputes, including the most serious ones over water and Kashmir, through dialogue, said Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) president Yasin Azad on Wednesday. Addressing a press conference on his return from India with other bar officials, Azad said that peace would enable both countries to cut their defence spending and concentrate on the welfare of their poor. He condemned target killing of the former president of the Malir Bar and others in Karachi and demanded the Sindh government arrest the culprits. He rejected SCBA vice president Imrana Parveen Baloch’s protest during the press conference that she had not been taken to India because she was a part of the Hamid Khan Group in the bar elections. Azad said the Indian High Commission had refused to give a visa to her and 23 other lawyers.
