Avenging Fakhra
It is deplorable that Bilal Khar has not been punished for what he did to Fakhra Younus.
KARACHI:
I fail to understand why a man who was charged with the attempted murder of his wife after allegedly throwing acid on her, ruining the remainder of her life and eventually causing her death, is still roaming around freely. Is it because in Pakistan, all that matters is for a person to have access to the corridors of power to get out of trouble even after committing a heinous crime?

It is deplorable that Bilal Khar has not been punished for what he did to Fakhra Younus. It is even more deplorable that Pakistanis choose to do nothing about this state of affairs. The government must make an example of such criminals, in order to prevent similar crimes from happening in the future.
