Football: Milan in crisis ahead of Roma clash
The champions have seen a succession of injuries strike down their regular forwards.
ROME:
Serie A leaders AC Milan face a potential crisis this weekend ahead of their clash with Roma with the possibility of having only two fit strikers. The champions have seen a succession of injuries strike down their regular forwards. Antonio Cassano is still out with a long-term heart problem, while Brazilian Pato is due to head to the US on Monday to find a solution to his thigh injury. To further compound problems, compatriot Robinho has hurt his ankle. Additionally, veteran Filippo Inzaghi has just been ruled out for up to three weeks with a pulled hamstring and top scorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also missing due to a back problem. It means Maxi Lopez will likely lead the line alongside youngster Stephan El Shaarawy.
