Honour crime: Man kills wife and sister
Haji Misri Hajano murdered his wife because he suspected that she was unfaithful to him.
HYDERABAD:
A young man identified as Haji Misri Hajano murdered his wife because he suspected that she was unfaithful to him, said the Rahuki police on Friday.
He also killed his sister when she tried to intervene and save her sister-in-law. The incident took place in the Gul Muhammad Jakhro village on Friday where Hajano worked as a labourer. The suspect confessed to the murders and said that he preferred to kill his wife than file for divorce.
“I begged Soomal to change her ways, but she refused,” he said. “I wanted to kill her when we were at a wedding in Tando Muhammad Khan.
“I saw her talking to another man but did not get a chance to do so.” According to SHO Akhtar Samo, Hajano used an axe and the family was reluctant for file a complaint.
Hajano’s brother Qurban said that he killed the women because he was angry.
