ISLAMABAD:
Five armed men opened fire on a teenager in front of his house in the small hours of Friday. Usama Ali, 17, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died in the hospital. The Shehzad Town police said Ali was shot while leaving his house to hail a cab to take his sick mother to a hospital. Latif, Umair and three other unidentified gunmen were waiting for him outside. The police said that Usama’s family had an old enmity with the killers. Earlier, Ali’s father Muhammad Nawaz was murdered. The police managed to arrest Latif, but the other four are still at large. Police said efforts were underway to arrest the remaining suspects.
