Raising Awareness: Pakistan to observe Meteorological day
The theme of World Meteorological Day 2012 is 'powering our future with weather, climate and water.'

ISLAMABAD:
World Meteorological Day will be marked across the globe including Pakistan on March 23 for raising awareness about global warming and other environmental issues. A number of activities are arranged by the Institute of Meteorology and Geo-Physics, said Director-General Pakistan Meteorological Department Arif Mehmood. The theme of World Meteorological Day 2012 is “powering our future with weather, climate and water.” The World Meteorological Day has been observed on March 23 each year since 1961.
