Bin Qasim: Potential of industrial zone highlighted

Bin Qasim Industrial Zone’s strategic position of being adjacent to the port makes it a great potential for attracting foreign and local investment, according to industrialist at a luncheon reception with Port Qasim Authority (PQA) Chairman Vice Admiral Mohammed Shafi. “It is the only port in Pakistan that has its own industrial zone,” PQA Chairman Vice Admiral Mohammed Shafi said adding that the PQA has shown a tremendous growth in a short span of time. We expect that the industries in port area will invest more in future.” As many as 180 industries are operational in the industrial area while another 257 industries in the process of establishment.
