Cricket: Capital outplay Pindi Gymkhana

Electing to bat, Pindi Captain piled up 201 runs in the allotted 35 overs for the loss of eight wickets.

ISLAMABAD:
Capital Gymkhana Cricket Club Islamabad outplayed Pindi Gymkhana Cricket club by six wickets in a friendly cricket match played at Capital Ground yesterday. Electing to bat, Pindi Captain piled up 201 runs in the allotted 35 overs for the loss of eight wickets. Tauqeer Kiani was the top-scorer with 45, while Ismail and Muhammad Shafi scored 24 and 19, respectively. Nouman Rasheed from Capital bagged four wickets for 44 runs, Sher Aghan two for 32 and Umair Ashraf two for 36 runs, respectively. In reply, Capital achieved the target in the 34th over for the loss of four wickets. Muhammad Haroon Chohan was the top-scorer with 65 runs supported by Saad Rana 51 and Umair Abbasi 28 runs, respectively.
