Imposter: PbBC orders registration of case
Register a case against a man posing as a lawyer.
LAHORE:
The disciplinary committee of the Punjab Bar Council (PbBC) on Wednesday ordered the registration of a case against a man posing as a lawyer. A notice was also issued to Advocate Immad Mushtaq, the brother the imposter Hammad Mushtaq. The orders were issued on a petition filed by Syed Shabbir Bokhari.
Bokhari contends that Hammad (in lawyers’ attire), Immad and their armed accomplices had stopped him and his client Zafar Askari from attending proceedings of an ongoing case in the district court. Bokhari alleges that the men held them hostage and beat them up.
