MUMBAI: Those drooling over the prospect of India and Pakistan squaring off at London Olympic Games are in for some disappointment. Both rivals have been drawn in opposite pools. India is in the same group as 2008 champions Germany. South Korea, Belgium and New Zealand complete Pool B whereas Pakistan is in Pool A. The draw means that India have a realistic chance to meet their target of finishing in the top six. Indian hockey coach Michael Nobbs was pleased with India’s draw but remained cautious. “I have always said no team is easy to play against,” said Nobbs. “The four-nation tournament we play will be a reality check for us. That’ll prove where we stand in terms of competing with our rivals.”
