Grant: IIUI gets Rs60m for electronics lab
IIUI was handed a lifeline with a Rs60 million in grant to improve its electronics lab.
ISLAMABAD:
The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) was handed a lifeline after the cash-starved institute was extended Rs60 million in grant to improve its electronics lab. The grant has been approved by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB). The project aims to strengthen the existing Advanced Electronics Laboratory in the university so that students may be able to study problems relating to micro, nano and opto-electronic devices and systems. Undergraduate and graduate students both in engineering and allied sciences will be able to utilise the facilities of the facility, according to university officials.
