Sindh: Wheat procurement target fixed
To achieve the target, 389 wheat procurement centres have been established across the province.
HYDERABAD:
Sindh government has fixed wheat procurement target at 1.3 million tons during current season with procurement rate of 40kg fixed at Rs1,050, an increase of Rs100 from last year. To achieve the target, 389 wheat procurement centres have been established across the province to facilitate farmers and cultivators. The food department will start the purchasing from April 1. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has strictly directed the officers of food department to guide and facilitate the farmers so that the target could be achieved.
