Lifestyle Pakistan: Expo to display Pakistani goods in India

The expected number of attendees for the four-day exposition is over 30,000 per day.

NEW DELHI:
Lifestyle Pakistan is a first of its kind, four-day trade exhibition taking place at Pragati Maidan in Delhi from April 12-15, 2012. The exhibition is joint venture of the Pakistani and Indian governments. Over 300 stalls exhibiting Pakistani textiles, leather products, accessories, home furnishing and traditional food items will be showcased, the Times of India has reported on Tuesday. The event aims to enhance trade relations between the two nations. Aside from exhibitions, there will also be a dedicated food court where Pakistan’s top restaurateurs will present the country’s specialty cuisines. In the evenings, Lifestyle will present four fashion shows by leading textile and design houses, followed by dinner and a musical gala. The expected number of attendees for the four-day exposition is over 30,000 per day; from the Indian trade industry and international buyers. Lifestyle Pakistan has been planned with support of the Indian commerce ministry and its Minister Anand Sharma.
