Exchanging Ideas: WiMAX South Asia moot in Islamabad

WiMAX Forum has announced that the next in its series of operator summits, WiMAX South Asia 2012, will be held on April 2 and 3 in Islamabad. This event, endorsed by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and organised with the assistance of Wateen Telecom, will focus on supporting the South Asian operator community in deploying profitable WiMAX networks, says a press release. “WiMAX South Asia 2012 is an opportunity for the broadband industry to exchange expertise and share success stories,” stated Dr Mohammed Yaseen, Chairman of PTA. WiMAX South Asia 2012 is an event for both operators and vendors, to meet, exchange ideas and develop business and cooperative relationships.
