Concession: 20% govt subsidy on CNG buses

Sindh Minister for Transport Akhtar Hussain Jadoon has said that the government will give transporters a 20 per cent subsidy on CNG buses. In the Sindh Assembly on Monday, Jadoon said that transporters were given subsidies by the state throughout the world.
He said that the government had initially planned to arrange for bank loans. “The plan did not materialise therefore the government has decided to give transporters a 20 per cent subsidy and 80 per cent of investment will by initiated by them,” he added.
