Event: 75 years of commitment to children

Plan International marked its 75th anniversary with a ceremony at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on Tuesday, said a press release. In Pakistan, the NGO has been active for 15 years. The event was attended by Swedish ambassador Lars-Hjalmar Wide, who was the co-chief guest alongside NADRA Deputy Chairperson Tariq Malik. Other dignitaries at the event included Holland ambassador Hugo Gajus Scheltema; Peter from the Embassy of Finland; Pakistan Humanitarian Forum Chairperson Aine Fay; and representatives of various embassies and international donor agencies along with over 200 children coming from the various rural and urban areas of Pakistan where Plan is working.
