            The Punjab government on Monday issued a press release announcing the appointment of Noorul Ameen Mengal as the Lahore district coordination officer (DCO). The district management group officer is from Chaghi district in  Balochistan. He is the first Baloch to have been appointed a DCO in the Punjab. According to the press release, he has served as the Gawadar DCO and the Finance additional secretary in Balochistan. He has also worked as a special secretary to the Punjab chief minister. DGPR
