Seminar: Irrigation Dept to mark Water Day
World Water Day on March 22 aims to create awareness about dwindling water resources in Pakistan

The Punjab Irrigation Department is organising a seminar to mark the World Water Day on March 22 at the Government Engineering Academy in Thokar Niaz Baig. Provincial Minister for Irrigation Malik Ahmad Ali Aulakh will preside over the seminar. Department spokesman said that the aim of the seminar was to create awareness about dwindling water resources in Pakistan and give suggestions for making the situation in this regard better. It will be attended by experts and professionals, who will also deliver lectures.
