Accountants: 145 new members feted

With a growing ACCA network, head of ACCA Pakistan, said great opportunities were now available to its members.

LAHORE: The induction of 145 new members in the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) in 2011 was celebrated on Friday at a ceremony. With a growing ACCA network, Arif Masud Mirza, head of ACCA Pakistan, said great opportunities were now available to its members. He said the ACCA was important in a system working towards accountability and transparency. An interactive session with potential employers included representatives of ICI Pakistan, MCB Limited, Crescent Bahuman, KPMG Taseer Hadi and Company and AF Ferguson.
