South Waziristan: Four militants killed, official injured
Four militants were killed when security forces retaliated. There were no casualties amongst the soldiers.

Security forces killed four militants in two separate incidents in South Waziristan Agency, while an official of the political administration was injured in a roadside blast close to the Pak-Afghan border, officials said.
The militants, whose exact number could not be ascertained, attacked a military check post in Zangarra village of Ladha in South Waziristan.
“Four militants were killed when security forces retaliated. There were no casualties amongst the soldiers,” an official from the area said.
Meanwhile, a political administration official, Muhammad Farooq Gangikhel, was injured when his car hit a roadside bomb in Khamrang area of Tehsil Birmal, South Waziristan, official sources told The Express Tribune.
Also on Saturday, armed militants killed a labourer, injured another and picked three of them in an attack on a coalmine in Lower Kurram.
A miner, Muhammad Bashir, was shot dead on the spot, while another, Hamish Rahman, got injured on resistance.
