ISLAMABAD: Ahead of the Nuclear Security Summit (NSC) to be held in Seoul later this month, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani asserted that the world recognises that Pakistan had excellent security arrangements for its nuclear assets.

The National Command Authority (NCA) responsible for the safety of nuclear assets had full backing of Parliament, he added. He expressed these sentiments after a detailed presentation by the Strategic Planning Directorate (SPD).

to be fair - for all three major asian nuke powers i.e. prc china , india and pak - NONE of them can really press the button and get away with it - no , not even prc china --- reason being that all three are in the same nuclear league and thus in a situation where no one would be the winner if a nuke battle ever got going .... the smartest thing would be to have a mutuallly supervised nuke disarmament - if that were ever possible.
