Avoiding A Split: PMS officers’ meeting postponed

The Provincial Management Service (PMS) Officers Association meeting which was to take place today (Sunday) has been postponed indefinitely. According to an official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, the meeting was postponed to avoid a split in the association. The official said that many members wanted to avoid any further agitation against the District Management Group, which they feared would only annoy DMG officials. The postponement was opposed by young officers but they were convinced by senior officers, the source said.
