Wali baber case: ATC reserves order in conflict of interest
Reserved on Thursday its order in an application moved by the accused against Arshad Cheema advocate.

An anti-terrorism court reserved on Thursday its order in an application moved by the accused against Arshad Cheema advocate, counsel for the complainant in the murder case of TV journalist Wali Khan Baber. The accused maintain that Cheema appeared as a special public prosecutor when they were arrested and produced before the administrative judge of ATCs and hence now he can not represent the complainant before the trial court. The judge of ATC III, Ghulam Mustafa Memon, heard both sides and reserved his order for March 21. The accused in custody are Faisal alias Nafsiyati, Syed Mohammad Ali Rizvi, Shahrukh alias Mani, Naveed alias Polka and Shakeel alias Malik. Wali Khan Babar, a young reporter with Geo TV, was killed in a targeted attack in Liaquatabad while returning home on January 13, 2011.
