Football: Milan extend lead as Juve draw
AC Milan extended their lead at the top of Serie A to four points with a 2-0 win over Lecce
ROME:
AC Milan extended their lead at the top of Serie A to four points with a 2-0 win over Lecce as Juventus were held to a goal-less draw at Genoa. Goals from Antonio Nocerino and Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Milan a comfortable victory. However, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri insisted nothing was decided in the title race despite the result. “It’s not a decisive step, though it is an important one because we won while Juve didn’t,” said Allegri.
