Rooting out corruption: Mumtaz backs Arab Spring-style change
Holds federal government responsible for the chaotic situation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
MITHI:
Sindh National Front chairman Mumtaz Ali Bhutto said on Sunday that Pakistan needed an Arab-Spring-style uprising to get rid of its corrupt rulers, and bring the downtrodden masses. At a public meeting in Mithi, Mumtaz held the federal government responsible for the chaotic situation in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. “I had been advocating for confederation, but nobody paid heed to it. Now all the federal political parties are talking of more powers for the provinces, as the country would not be able to survive unless the government stopped strangulating the provinces,” Mumtaz claimed.
