Annual conference : Cancer treatment experiences shared
The conference was attended by over 500 delegates from across the country.

The 17th Annual Cancer Conference 2012, organised by the Pakistan Society for Clinical Oncology (PSCO) concluded on Sunday. The three-day conference started on Friday and was titled ‘Join Hands, Cure Cancer’. It was jointly organised by NORI Hospital, Islamabad, and Oncology Department, CMH, Rawalpindi. The conference was attended by over 500 delegates from across the country and a faculty of over 100 renowned experts in the field of clinical oncology. Dr. Ansar Pervez, chairman of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. All types of cancers came under discussion. Lt. Col. Ahsan Mehmood, oncologist at CMH told APP that some cancer experts from abroad also participated at the conference and they shared their experience with medical students and young trainee doctors.
