Negligence: Staff of 3 matric exam centres suspended

55 students were caught by a team using unfair means to solve an exam the same day.

Two superintendents, three deputy superintendents and other staff members of three centres for matriculation exams were suspended for negligence on Saturday after 55 students were caught by a Faisalabad Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education team using unfair means to solve an exam the same day.

A BISE spokesman said raiding teams supervised by Controller Examination Malik Zafar Iqbal caught these students from examination centres set up in Chak 135-RB, Salarwala, and Chak 49-JB in Bathan.



The officials were suspended on directives of the EDO (Education). These officials were identified as Superintendents Munawwar Husain and Muhammad Elyas Shad, deputy superintendents Abdur Rauf, Muhammad Anjum and Nargis Bano. Action would be taken against the third superintendent, Muhammad Anwar, on suggestion of the Jhang Education Department. As many as 25 students were caught from the examination centre in Chak 135-RB, three from Salarwala and 27 from Chak 49-JB in Bathan.

These were identified as Shah Zeb, Iqbal, Ashfaq, Majid, Alam Shaukat, Zulqarnain, Imran Yousuf, Waqqas, Imtiaz, Atif, Zeeshan, Atif Husain, Nasir, Saifullah, Akhtar, Danish, Waqqas Ahmad, Waleed, Aurangzeb, Shan Zafar, Sulaman Zaheer, Bilal, Abu Bakr, Qamar Zaman, Husain, Ali Raza Wajid, Nasir, Ehsan, Azmat, Shahid, Yasir, Muhammad Khan, Faisal, Imtiaz, Saleem, Yaseen, Abdul Ghafoor, Qasim, Azhar, Mansha, Waqqas, Bilal and Saifur Rehman.
