Aisam, Bopanna power to quarter-finals
Aisamul Haq and Rohan Bopanna advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic.

Pakistan’s leading tennis star Aisamul Haq and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna advanced to the doubles quarter-finals of the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington.
The Pakistan-India pair overcame seasoned opponents Martin Damm from the Czech Republic and Austria’s Oliver Marach 7-5, 4-6, 10-3. Aisam and Bopanna laboured to the win over their opponents in the first round of the $1.1655 million hard court event.
Aisam and Bopanna now face former men’s doubles number one Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan from the US. Interestingly, Aisam and Bopanna lost to the Bryan brothers last week at the Farmers Classic in Los Angeles, where the American pair created a record of most title wins after claiming their 62nd trophy.
