Cricket: Akram powers ZTBL to big win

Batting first, Rawalpindi were bowled out for 47 in 15.1 overs.

Almas Akram bagged seven wickets to steer ZTBL to a 10-wicket win against Rawalpindi in their Seventh National Women’s Cricket Championship Group B match at the Lahore Gymkhana. Batting first, Rawalpindi were bowled out for 47 in 15.1 overs. In reply, ZTBL raced to victory in just 5.4 overs with Sana Mir making an unbeaten 25. Meanwhile, in Group A, Bakhtawar Iqbal claimed four wickets as Lahore defeated Islamabad by five wickets. Elsewhere, Multan beat Abbottabad by 171 runs.
