Cricket: RLCA Burewala win T20 encounter
RLCA and Omar Associates won their respective matches.
KARACHI:
RLCA Burewala Academy stunned KESC Academy with a 39-run win in their NBP Under-17 Inter-Academies Twenty20 cricket tournament clash held at the RLCA ground, Gulberg. Batting first, Burewala scored 121 for four in their allotted quota as Shahzaib Ahmed hit 39 and Adnan Hameed made 35.
In reply, KESC were bowled out for 82 in 14.4 overs with Abdul Razzak picking up three wickets. Meanwhile, Omar Associates Academy Whites beat Sindh Police Academy by 40 runs.
Omar Associates posted 144 runs on the board before restricting Sindh Police to 104 for nine in their allotted 20 overs.
