Protestors warned if the clerks’ demands were not satisfied, they would start protesting outside Sindh Secretariat

A strike by clerks belonging to the Sindh Health Department entered its fourth week on Saturday. Some of the demands of the protesting clerks include on time promotions, utility allowances and establishment of a job quota for their kin at the health department. At a protest rally in Larkana on Saturday, a representative of All Pakistan Clerks Association’s Chandka hospital chapter lamented that clerks and paramedics across the province were denied the benefits that were already enjoyed by doctors and teachers. Protestors also warned that if the clerks’ demands were not satisfied, then they would start protesting outside the Sindh Secretariat in Karachi from March 15.
