Caught On Camera: Bugti’s guards beat TV reporters
Shahzain Bugti, grandson of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, unleased his security guards on two reporters of ARY News.

Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti, grandson of late Nawab Akbar Bugti, unleased his security guards on two reporters of ARY News who were capturing his meeting with US officials at a local hotel on Thursday, on their cell phone cameras. Bugti’s guards allegedly confiscated their phones. One of the reporters managed to escape from the guards’ custody and informed his office about the incident. Bugti, president of the Balochistan chapter of Jamhoori Watan Party, was meeting the political counsellor of the US embassy Jonathan Prett, a source said. “[Bugti’s] guards thrashed me and he himself threatened me of dire consequences if I would not hand over the cell phone,” said one of the reporters. The police took the four guards into custody and a formal application for registration of FIR against Bugti and his guards was also lodged with the Secretariat police. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
