Balochistan High Court: College recruitment policy challenged
Court issued notices to the Secretary Colleges and Advocate General and sought comment.

Balochistan High Court (BHC) has directed the Secretary Colleges and authority concerned not to make any appointment on the position of lecturer in government colleges. The petitioner has assailed the notified policy titled “Policy Regarding Filling of the Vacant Lecturer Positions in the Government Colleges Purely on Contract Basis”. He contended that the policy seeks to fill in permanent posts of lecturers, assistant professors and associate professors on contract basis. The court issued notices to the Secretary Colleges and Advocate General and sought comment.
