QUETTA:
Lengths of railway track were blown up in Kishangi area of Naushki, about 148 kilometers (90 miles) southwest of Quetta, in the early hours of Thursday. According to an official of Balochistan Levies, a four-foot portion of the track was blown up when an explosive device attached to the track went off. A heavy contingent of security forces reached the spot soon after the explosion. “It was a subversive act but it would be premature to speculate which group is behind the attack,” an official said.
