Income Support: Transparency attracting donors
World Bank has approved $150 million for funding the BISP to assist in extending free education to deprived children.

Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Farazana Raja said that the transparency in BISP was catching the attention of international donors.
Talking to PTV on Thursday, she said that the World Bank has approved $150 million for funding the BISP to assist in extending free education to deprived children aged five to 12 years. To a question, she answered that BISP assists women in getting identity cards to verify them as state citizens and guarantee their basic rights.
