Sap Seminar: Women MPs recognised for their efforts
Various aspects of the legislation will be highlighted by women parliamentarians during the seminar.

A seminar geared to pay tribute to women parliamentarians for their concerted efforts for pro-women legislation in the country will be held on March 7. South Asia Partnership (SAP) Pakistan is organising the seminar in connection with International Women’s Day at Alhamra Art Centre. Various aspects of the legislation aimed at weeding out discriminatory practices against women and providing an environment for their socio-economic growth, will be highlighted by women parliamentarians. The meeting will also take into account the main features, as well as the status of the Domestic Violence Bill.
