FC men kill seven militants near Bugti tribal territory: Spokesman
Nine others militants were injured in a gun battle, large quantity of arms and ammunition recovered.

Seven Baloch militants were killed and nine others wounded in Pat Feeder near Bugti Tribal Territory, during an armed clash with Frontier Corps (FC) troops.
According to FC spokesperson, a group of armed men opened fire at FC convoy when it was returning from a routine patrol. Forces fired back, killing seven of them on the spot and injuring nine others. “The exchange of fire started late Monday night and lasted till 5am. All the FC personnel remained unhurt in the attack,” spokesperson added.
The militants also took away the bodies, an official said, adding that a well known commander Khaki was among the dead while the identities of other deceased could not be ascertained.
FC personnel also seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition. However, no arrest was made.
No armed group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
It is pertinent to mention that banned outfit Baloch Republican Army (BRA) often target security forces and gas pipelines in Dera Bugti and Nasirabad division. However, there have been no statements on the part of BRA about this incident.
