Teachers Protest: SU brings eight teachers back
The Sindh University withdrew the dismissal orders for eight of its faculty members on Monday.

The Sindh University withdrew the dismissal orders for eight of its faculty members on Monday and accepted a key demand of the protesting teachers. Previously, the office bearers of university’s teachers association, including Dr Azhar Ali Shah, Dr Arfanna Malah, Dr Ayaz Keerio, Dr Rabia Asma Memon and Prof Badar Soomro, were removed for protesting and asking the vice chancellor Nazir A Mughal to resign. However, the association said that they would continue to boycott classes till Mughal resigned.
