Cricket: Morton dies in road accident

Morton, 33, was returning home from a cricket match at around 11pm local time.

TRINIDAD:
West Indies batsman Runako Morton died in a road accident on Sunday, according to police officials. Morton, 33, was returning home from a cricket match at around 11pm local time when his vehicle crashed into a utility pole on the Solomon Hochoy Highway in central Trinidad. He played in 15 Test matches, 56 One-Day Internationals and seven Twenty20s for West Indies, while his last appearance for the national team was in a T20 against Australia in 2010.
