Militancy: Five police officers injured in suicide blast
A suicide bomber detonated the explosives strapped to his body next to a police patrol.

At least five policemen, including a senior officer, were wounded in a suicide attack in a busy market in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Sohail Khalid, a suicide bomber detonated the explosives strapped to his body next to a police patrol, led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Abdul Ghaffar, in Bazaar Misgarah at around 9pm.
All the five policemen travelling in the police patrol van, including DSP Ghaffar, were wounded. The limbs of the bomber were scattered all over the site. The injured were immediately ferried to District Headquarters Hospital in D I Khan where medics said their wounds were not life threatening.
Other policemen present at the site started firing gunshots into the air, whipping up fear among shopkeepers and local residents.
