All Pakistan Organisation of Small Traders and Cottage Industries urged the government to do something.
KARACHI:
All Pakistan Organisation of Small Traders and Cottage Industries urged the government to do something about the problems faced by the small industries. The president of the association, Mahmood Hamid, said that the repeated jolts to small industries by sharp increases in electricity, gas, petrol, CNG and LPG tariffs have dealt a big blow to the national economy. He said that commercial banks do not issue sufficient loans at affordable markups to small traders, while the big ones were moving their assets to Bangladesh.
