Celebrations marred: ANP activist killed as violence erupts
Sajjad Chandio was killed and three other people were injured.
KARACHI:
A clash between activists of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) led to the death of an ANP worker in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on Sunday. Sajjad Chandio was killed and three other people were injured after fighting flared up at an ANP camp near Hussain Hazara Goth, which was set up to celebrate Shahi Syed’s successful senatorial run. Police said activists left behind an AK-47 and a car.
