New recruit: Former Gujranwala councillor joins PTI

Samina Kausar, former member of municipal council from Begum Kot area of Gujranwala, joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on Saturday.


She announced the decision at a meeting arranged by the PTI women’s wing in Sheikhupura. Youth-wing president Waseem Bari; District Organiser Humaira Ali Kazmi; Lahore vice-president Najmus Sahar, Punjab President (women) Saloni Bokhari, Regional Organiser (Lahore) Dr Nousheen Hamid Mairaj, Regional Organiser (Central Punjab) Dr Seemi Bokhari, Punjab Information Secretary Talath Naqvi, Punjab Joint Secretary Yasmin Khan and ISF Organiser Neshmia Kamran attended the meeting. PTI women wing arranged another meeting in Lahore. Dr Nousheen Miraj criticised the government for the recent raise in fuel prices.
