Top-seed John Isner booked a berth in the semi-finals of the Delray Beach International while former US Open winner Andy Roddick crashed out. Isner advanced with a brisk 6-3, 6-2 win over eighth-seed Bernard Tomic, capitalising on four of his five break chances against the 19-year-old Australian. Isner’s next opponent is seventh-seed Kevin Anderson, who rallied to beat fourth-seed Roddick 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 in a marathon match lasting two hours and 33 minutes.
