Two foreigners released after brief detention in Rawalpindi
Foreigners identified as French nationals were taken to police station by a traffic warden in Rawalpindi.

The foreigners, identified as Apollo Nicolo and Scraenaris Frederick, were taken to the New Town Police Station by a traffic warden after he found them taking pictures of an under-construction flyover in a ‘sensitive area’ on Murree Road.
However, after initial interrogation, both the foreigners were released as they claimed they were not aware that the area they were photographing was ‘sensitive’.
