Yemen Battle: Army units clash near president’s home
According to witnesses, there were no casualties.
SANAA:
Rival units of Yemen’s divided military traded fire on Thursday outside the residence of the country’s newly elected president, with no reported casualties, witnesses said. Troops from the First Armoured Division, commanded by a general who mutinied last year against former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, traded fire with members of the Central Security force, which is led by Saleh’s nephew, said witnesses.
